Video communication is not the future, it’s the present. No one doubts that. However, what you might not know is that given the choice between reading information and having it delivered by video, most prefer video. Nearly 60% of all business people surveyed said they would watch video before reading text. (Forbes, October 2010) Additionally, 75% of all executives said they watched work related videos on business websites at least once a week.

Video is the new text. It’s not my opinion it's how societies worldwide have chosen to communicate and it doesn’t matter what industry you’re in. The most powerful use of video just might be with financial advisors. "Because clients entrust advisors with their life savings and dreams, relationships have a large emotional component...Video establishes an emotional bond..." For the last 5 years I have been creating various, targeted and personal video communication pieces for the financial services industry. I have  focused my attention on the wholesaler and more recently on the financial advisor. The less time it takes to establish a relationship and develop trust, the shorter the sales cycle will be resulting in increased revenues and over time huge savings in travel expenses.

We are in the early innings of this very powerful communication tool and I’m uniquely qualified to help you capitalize on this trend. I have marketing experience with Procter & Gamble, Domino’s Pizza and Godfather’s Pizza.  Most recently, I've been marketing a non-traded REIT through the independent Broker-Dealer network.  I also have a background in entertainment. I was a comedian as well as an actor and have both acted opposite an Oscar winner and even directed an Oscar winning director. Yeah, sounds pretty cool, but believe it or not these unique experiences have come into play countless times as I’ve worked with wholesalers and corporate executives to help them communicate on camera as effectively as  possible.

The unsolicited positive comments I’ve received from wholesalers, financial advisors, their clients and Broker Dealer home office personnel have been very rewarding. So I can say without hesitation, that my videos have been exceptionally well received.  However, while having people like the videos, creating an emotional connection between clients, advisors, wholesalers and having your brand be top of mind is great, the true test of a marketing program is its ability  to deliver solid numbers.
